The Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood. The Church was built on the spot where Emperor Alexander II was assassinated on March 1, 1881. The interior is decorated with over 7500 sq. meters of mosaic tiles. It is also known as the Church of the Resurrection, Cathedral of the Ascension, Resurrection of the Christ, or Assumption or Church of the Redeemer.
